 This electronic publication is a sample of the activities that the UNESCO Chair on World Language Heritage of the UPV/ EHU has been carrying out since its foundation in 2007. To guarantee linguistic diversity constitutes a purpose that the Chair claims as a Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) for the United Nations 2030 Agenda although it has not been explicitly mentioned within the framework of the Agenda. In this volume we provide original works of world-renowned specialists, as well as of involved activists that analyze linguistic diversity and insist on the value languages have, specially the minoritized .....  The Second International Conference On Engineering Education For The Twenty-First Century (Bilbao-Spain, 4 and 5 July 2019) has been co-organized by the University of the Basque Country (UPV-EHU) and the Universitat Jaume I in Castelló (UJI), and has continued the debate started two years ago in Castelló de la Plana, where the central theme of the conference was "New Competences in the Area of Sustainability and University Social Responsibility". The central theme of this second international conference has been "Engineering Education towards Sustainability: Approaches for Institutionalization and Teaching Implementation".  EuroSoTL, el Congreso Europeo de Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, o enfoque académico de la enseñanza y el aprendizaje, está organizado en colaboración con el grupo europeo de la International Society for Scholarship of Teaching and Learning -ISSOTL- y la Red Estatatal de Docencia Universitaria -RED-U-. El congreso se celebró en el Bizkaia Aretoa de Bilbao (País Vasco) los días 13 y 14 de junio de 2019. Las personas participantes pudieron discutir e intercambiar experiencias en nuevas temáticas sobre la enseñanza y el aprendizaje en Educación Superior. Tras dos celebraciones anteriores en Cork, Irlanda (2015) y .....  La sostenibilidad y su relación con la ecología y la biodiversidad, con la arquitectura bioclimática y con las instalaciones eficientes, no es una opción hoy en día, es un compromiso de todos y una obligación moral. La arquitectura es un diente importante en ese engranaje que nos puede dirigir a un futuro viable o al abismo. Los edificios han sido y siguen siendo grandes consumidores directos de recursos, energía, agua, materiales, alimentos, y consumidores indirectos de otros recursos contaminantes, como los vinculados al transporte. The figure of James Joyce is intangible, an almost all-encompassing figure whose height and breadth bypasses countries, continents and even time constraints and limitations. Many writers have confessed to their being indebted to his works and readings, as have many scholars over the years. However, not everything said about Joyce has always been praising; his contemporary D.H. Lawrence is known to have criticised him on the basis of his Biblical references or his journalistic-indebted narrative, which he defined as “old and hard-worked staleness, masquerading as the all-new”.
