Este libro recoge las comunicaciones seleccionadas para el 9º Congreso Europeo sobre Eficiencia Energética y Sostenibilidad en Arquitectura / 2º Congreso de Construcción Avanzada, organizado por el grupo de investigación Calidad de Vida en Arquitectura de la Universidad del País Vasco / Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea en colaboración con el Eraikune, Clúster de la Construcción de Euskadi. El congreso, que se celebró en el marco de los XXXVII Cursos de Verano de la UPV/EHU, aborda en esta edición el tema “Smart Communities”. Alrededor de este tema general se desarrollan ocho ponencias magistrales, además de 20 comunicaciones seleccionadas por el comité científico que presentan trabajos de investigaciones actuales en las sesiones orales y póster.

This book collects the papers selected for the 9th European Congress on Energy Efficiency and Sustainability in Architecture / 2nd Congress of Advanced Construction, organized by the research group Quality of Life in Architecture of the University of the Basque Country / Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea in collaboration with Eraikune, Cluster of Construction of Euskadi. The congress, held in the framework of the XXXVII Summer Courses of the UPV / EHU, addresses in this edition the theme “Smart Communities”. Around this general topic eight lectures are developed, in addition to 20 communications selected by the scientific committee, which present current research works through oral sessions and posters.
